How we list products
foodbusinessapps is a brand of Intertrading Holding Limited. This page sets out what we include, where facts come from and how they are checked.
What we include
A product is included when it is software that the vendor sells to food businesses. We leave out services, hardware-only products, consumer apps, and general-purpose tools that have no food-specific features.
Where the facts come from
Facts on product pages come from the vendors' own public web pages, such as their product, pricing and integration pages. Each product page lists the pages it draws on.
How facts are checked
We use AI assistance and automated checks to do the research. A script fetches the cited pages again and confirms that prices, integration names and funding amounts appear on them.
A fact that cannot be confirmed is left out or listed as unconfirmed. Checks like these reduce errors. They do not remove them, and vendors change their pages without telling us.
What "last reviewed" means
Each product page shows the date we last compared its facts with the pages it cites. It does not mean the vendor has made no changes since then. Confirm details with the vendor before you buy.
Why there are no ratings
We do not show ratings or reviews because we have not collected any from users. We would rather show nothing than a score with no basis.
How products are ordered
Lists of products are in alphabetical order by name. The order does not reflect quality or popularity.
Paid placement
We do not sell listings or placement. A vendor cannot pay to be included, to be ranked higher or to change what its page says.
