TipLedger is web software that calculates how restaurant tips are split among staff. Managers enter each shift’s sales, tips and hours, and it applies the venue’s pooling and tip-out rules, keeps an activity log and exports CSV reports for payroll. It needs no POS connection and is aimed at owner-operated restaurants, bars and cafes with one location.

    Weekly totals per employee, including declared cash versus charged tips, downloadable as CSV for payroll.

  • Audit trail

    Logs who changed what and when for every calculation and edit.

  • Employee view with PIN login

    Staff see their own tips and breakdown using a name code and 4-digit PIN.

  • Tip income record keeping

    Keeps per-employee ledgers separating cash and charged tips and declared amounts to support payroll reporting; it is not tax filing.
