DesignMyNight

DesignMyNight is a UK-based guide and booking site for bars, restaurants, pubs, clubs and events. For venues it works as a marketing and booking channel: a venue page, editorial promotion and table bookings, with related ticketing and gift voucher products. It has been owned by The Access Group since 2017 and works alongside its Access Collins and ResDiary booking systems.

Who it is for

  • Bars, pubs and restaurants wanting new bookings

List the venue, get promoted in city guides and take table bookings from the site audience; the vendor says some venues get over 10,000 extra bookings a year.

  • Venues running ticketed events

Tonic Ticketing lists events on the site and can send ticket sales into the Access Collins booking system.

  • Venues already on Access Collins or ResDiary

The vendor says using those systems alongside DesignMyNight gives a further boost to bookings.

What it does

  • Venue listing

A dedicated page where the venue controls photos, menus, offers and positioning, with regular performance insights.

  • Editorial promotion

Placement in city guides and seasonal content, with a content calendar and a marketing account manager for booking partners.

  • Real-time table search and booking

Consumers search availability and confirm a table booking on the site.

  • Group and corporate venue finding

A venue-finding team helps large groups and corporate events find a venue.

  • Referral bundles

Venues can pay only for confirmed reservations or choose tailored referral bundles.

  • Tonic Ticketing

Sells event tickets online with automatic listing on DesignMyNight, upsells for food and drink, and a ticket scanning app.

Gift voucher software for hospitality venues, offered under the same company.

  • Access Collins bookings

Reservation and enquiry management platform from the same group, used by venues to manage reservations, enquiries and payments.

Pricing

Pricing model
Pay per confirmed booking or referral bundle

For venue listings the site says you pay only for confirmed reservations or choose referral bundles, with no amounts published; the enquiry form is the route to a quote. The separate Tonic Ticketing product charges a booking fee of 10% for tickets up to GBP 39.99, 8% for GBP 40 to 69.99 and 6% from GBP 70, with free tickets at no fee. That fee is for ticketing, not the venue listing.
