Erudus

Erudus is a shared online database of food product specifications in the UK, entered by the manufacturers who make the products. Caterers, wholesalers and retailers search it for allergen, nutrition, ingredient and packaging data, and caterers can also build costed recipes and menu plans from it. Manufacturers list their products on it, and the vendor says it is free for the smallest ones.

Caterer plans on the caterers page: Standard £10 a month and Premium £17 a month, one user licence each, with two months free on annual billing; UK VAT extra. The Recipe Builder page shows Premium at £16.99 and the Menu Planner page at £19.99. The wholesaler page shows a Premium plan from £122.40. Manufacturer subscriptions depend on annual turnover, and the tier for under £2 million shows £0 per year.
