Hygiene & Sanitation Monitoring

3 products listed

Introduction

Keeping a food site clean is not enough on its own, because you also have to show that cleaning worked. This software gathers cleaning and inspection schedules, swab and test results and corrective actions, then puts them on dashboards and maps of the site. It suits sites where hygiene is checked with instruments and sampling plans, more than kitchens ticking off a daily list. The two profiled products both come from the same instrument maker and are aimed at processing plants, so the category is small and specialised.

Who needs it

Food and beverage manufacturing plants with a sanitation programme, sampling plans and auditors reviewing trends over time. A restaurant or cafe seldom needs this level, and a general checklist app usually covers its cleaning records. It becomes worth having when test results sit in spreadsheets and nobody can see where problems repeat. Rules differ by country.

What to look for

  • Works with your test instruments. Both profiled products work with the same vendor's test instruments. If you already own other equipment, check whether results can be imported.

  • Site maps and trends. Seeing results on a floor plan shows where problems recur. Ask how sampling points are set up.

  • Free tier or published price. One product lists a free plan for one site, and the other publishes no price. Start with the free tier if you are unsure.

  • Dashboards across several plants. If you run several plants, check that results can be compared across sites with permissions for each team.
